The Berggren Family

When Kim sent me the e-mail introducing me to each of her children, I could tell that this was going to be a very special photo-shoot.
Which it was.
After trying to arrange them for a posed family photo, I knew that we were going to get way better pictures when I let the kids do their own thing.  So I put on my running shoes, and I started to play.  Best choice I could have made as a photographer!  This was how I captured smiling faces, natural moments, and giggling children.
This session was so fun!  So I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

And the final shot for the evening- After I left the family at one side of the park, I was walking back to my car and came across a real-life spiderman.  Ok, so he was actually a rockclimber who didn't want to lose his skills while living in the very flat area of Kearney, Nebraska.

Marissa + Nolan = Baby Whalen

Is this baby going to be beautiful? That's unmistakable.

Is this baby is going to be a boy or a girl? That's still questionable.

Is this baby going to have great hair either way? That's definite.

Is this baby is going to be loved? That's undeniable.

And the little fella that stuck around awhile while I was scouting ourtthe area.

Melissa and Brandon Browne

People can say that they love each other and they want to spend their lives together, but you can't always believe what people say.
There are a few things you can believe though.
You can believe the sparkle in her eye when she says his name.
You can believe the way he watches her in awe as she walks into the room.
You can believe the sweet nothing he leans over to whisper in her ear.
You can believe the hand that he offers to help her with her gown.
Through all of these intimate details, I believe these two.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Browne.
